Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA)
This rite is the preferred way by which adults become members of the Roman Catholic Church. They celebrate the Sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation, and Eucharist (in that order) on Holy Saturday evening, when we celebrate the Mass of the Resurrection of Jesus Christ, that is, Easter. The journey that leads to this ceremony takes several months, during which we explore what it means to be a Catholic Christian. Parishioners are an essential part of the ongoing discussions.
